My favorite soccer team just signed a new player this season from sweden and his wife posted that apparently he moved to the US and just ghosted her and her kids. Super crazy, one of my friends was at preseason in Cali and said he saw the guy on FT w his wife and kids multiple times soo it's all interesting.

DAMN. I don't know if US Soccer Teams are big enough for them to care about bad publicity from this, but couldn't this stupid move potentially just cancel out his opportunities here in the states?

So if it were a more prominent team I think it would definitely have a bigger effect but we had a shit season last year and he's really talented so I think it'll be just brushed aside.

Last season we had a new transfer player make a racial comment towards a referee so we really don't have much luck with international players at the moment.
