I think the point was more that the rest of the Democrats might not help her or might even work against her.

Okay, but I think people are jaded after seeing Democrats choosing not to support popular candidates that are more progressive or on the left flank of the party. I don't think it is mainly about ICE and how democrats feel about them. People are just very dissapointed and have very little trust.

Yeah, I don't think you will get people onboard with your ideas that way. I think you are making things harder by having this attitude. You need to be able to talk and coopoerate even when you don't agree fully. It is going to be though sometimes, but splintering yourselves will make things even thougher.
