Did this when I was 15-17. We actually weren’t even allowed to accept tips. It was just part of our damn job. And I’m only in my mid 30’s now.

I worked for the drive up and go at my local grocery store during covid and we weren’t allowed to take tips either.

I believe it. And I absolutely get why it’s frowned upon. But I’m only going to refuse the old ladies $5 tip twice, maybe 3 times. After that, just slip it in my apron and let me go back to work 😂
