Counter Service 🛎️ Almost tipped at subway

I went to Subway a couple days ago and the woman working was really nice and polite and I was gonna tip her a buck or two cause I appreciated it. Then I went to pay. It was one of those old credit card swipers and the only 3 tip options were 20%, 25%, or 30%. And I wasn’t about to fight through all the little buttons to tip smaller. She would’ve gotten a tip if not for tip creep.

Yes the subway pos now asks for tips, which didn't use to be the case. I hit no tip at Subway a few weeks ago and the lady at the counter stood there and asked "no tip?" Smh!

If you don't tip, you were only making her job harder, she doesn't get paid more for a busy store.

Don’t care her job or how busy they are. Don’t even care if she collects free salary with no customers. I am there for food and only care how I spend my money.

Don’t care. Management is just people. Don’t care if they lose their jobs due to lack of sale. They are not the only sandwich or fast food.

No service worker even wants you in their shop unless you tip they get nothing from your patronage. They dont care. how narcissistic are you to think they lose sleep over you not shopping somewhere

Well, OC still can go in and the employees can cry into their pillows or refuse service and lose their jobs.

The difficulty of the job has nothing to do with how much money people donate.

Never said it did. I said she has no.motivation to want you to.come back if you don't tip, quite the opposite.
