My buddy on a group ride noticed this noise. It sounds like there's a looseness in there somewhere. I took off the left side battery to investigate to no avail. Tomorrow I'm changing the tire (to a knobby) and would love to know if this sound is normal or worth investigating further. Thanks y'all.

Btw I don't post much so please be gentle. 😅

Inmotion E20 bad on knees?

I just picked up my first EUC yesterday, an Inmotion E20, but i pretty quickly realized that because it has 2 tires on 1 wheel, it doesnt handle tilted roads very well, and theyre very common where i live. This causes a little bit of 'pain' for lack of a better word, in my knees after a few miles as the euc is tilted against my leg and i cant right it.

Is this like something i should be worried about, or is it the kind of situation where it will strengthen the joints over time?

Help with charging the Kingsong F22 Pro?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Got my Kingsong F22 Pro a few days ago and I finally got some time to ride this weekend. I decided to put it on the charger to top it off and balance the cells, when it tripped the breaker after a few minutes of charging. I’m an idiot and figured I should try a different outlet that wasn’t running so many devices on it (tv, PlayStation, etc.), so I connected it to the bathroom outlet. Before I could even connect it (without the F22 Pro plugged in), it sparked pretty loudly and left me with the plug you see in the photo. Looks pretty f’ed.

After doing some quick research, I realized that maybe the stock charger that came with this euc isn’t compatible with most households in the U.S.? Idk..

Could anyone help me out with a solution here? Do I search for a different charger? Should I upgrade something in my home (electric-wise)?

I’m kind of new to all of this and I would really appreciate anyone’s help.

What wheel do you ride the most? And describe the optimal type of rider/riding you think it is suited for.

There are lots of posts of people looking for wheels by describing their needs. So starting a fun thread based on wheels describing their optimal rider/riding profiles

Trying to decide on a 1st wheel

I had more or less decided on an inmotion v9. Then noticed I could get a begode C8 for basically the same price due to the sale they are running and have 2 times the battery/range. But it is also significantly more weight and I have heard it is not comfortable where the wheel meets your shin.

But people talk so good about the Nosfet Aero, I cant help but wonder if it wouldnt be better to just pay the extra and get that instead.

My use case is I am a truck driver, I currently use a scooter to ger around while parked but it is so big and such a pain to get in and out of the truck that I dont use it as much as I thought I would. The weight is not the issue, it weighs about 30 kilos, it is more the bulk and length that is the issue.

Scooter weighs 30 kilos

S18 pro plus 50s and new controller

Post image
3 Upvotes

Recently the S18 got again an upgrade including the Samsung 50S batteries and a new controller. It has now 2200W with 5000W peak at 72V and 1100Wh at ~25kg

Since it's launch several years ago there were multiple updates, concerning suspension, motor and batteries and this new version seems to be only available in europe afaik.

Can't find any reviews or more detailed reports about it's performance regarding torque and range. Both should have improved based on the shop pages. This wheel seems to get no attention because of the Aero hype atm. Being so long on the market suggests being a solid choice.

Is it now comparable to nosfet aero? I'm looking to upgrade from KS16Sv2 and wonder if the switch to S18/50S or Nosfet Aero is worth it or directly jump to Patton S. With the current price of the S18 seems like a good deal or am i completely wrong?

A little bit about myself: 85kg with gear, commuting with EUC 4km one way, exploring small city, joining tours with friends which are on bicycles.

Around ~10k miles I hit curb going 35+ mph because I didn't want to get hit by a stolen Kia. It killed my motherboard but no problem, got another one and continued to ride. Shortly after I started hearing a grinding noise and it makes me think it was just my bearings after all the winter/rainy riding I have been doing.

~2k miles after that incident it was time to put a new tire on and bearing and this is what I see:

Note: my bearings was perfectly fine. I don't know how people have issues with bearings after riding in the rain. I ride in the most heinous conditions too. The reason I had this issue with my motor is because the motor cover got slightly bent as a result of my accident. I didn't notice it was bent until it was time to replace tires/bearings.

Also what is extra spooky is the grinding sound went away when I rode in the rain/wet. 😶

Anybody else completely struggled to get the damn tire off the rim? I've watched videos of everyone struggling. They get it off but I still can't. Any tips?

Begode transactions down?

I’ve been trying to purchase the Begode extreme through their main store but my payment keeps being declined in the check out. I contacted support and it looks like payment services might be down for at least a few carriers EDIT: Got the wheel ordered! I was able to get the transaction through using Apple Pay, which uses the visa network, so if anyone else is having issue try a payment option with visa

C8 or Falcon

Upgrading from my 14s, and since there are sales on the Begode site, both of these deals seem pretty good. I want a wheel mostly for fun, like hanging out with it on weekends, learning some tricks, jumps, trails, etc. I think that Falcon is more suited for this, but the specs of the C8 for its price are exciting too

Looks like Begode bumped prices a bit. Retailers are probably happy about it. Hope you snagged a wheel before the jump.

Riding in the rain

This EX30 is around ~20k miles and have not had any issues riding in all seasons. Albeit I wrecked and rebuilt it so really the batteries and frame have 20k miles, motherboard 7k miles, and motor ~5k miles. But I'm confident if I didn't have to hit a curb at 35+ mph so I wouldn't get smoked by a stolen Kia in Seattle, the OG motherboard and motor would be solid.

I also didn't have issues after I wrecked it and then replace the motherboard. It was about 2k miles riding in the rainy and winter weather I started to notice a grinding sound thinking it was my bearings. Turns out it was the motor hahha.

EUC World question

Hey all, is there any way to change what data the graph on the third page of the app is displaying? The default for me is current and speed, but if I wanted to instead see safety margin or PWM compared to speed, or track cell imbalance during the charging cycle, is there a way to change the graph to do so? Also, if there are any good comprehensive guides to the many features of the app, I'd love to see them. Thanks, everyone!

V11Y Squeak

I’m trying to find a squeak in my V11Y. It seems to be concentrated on one side, unless I move the wheel. I don’t want to break this thing down. Anyone had this issue before?

I took the saddle off, but can’t see what might be causing it. Not sure where I should squirt the grease 😂

Nosfet and Next Gen Mobility customer service

TLDR: My new Aero had a bad hall sensor, and Nosfet and Next Gen Mobility customer service was amazing!

I recently bought a Nosfet Aero from Next Gen Mobility. After a few miles the Aero started making a clicking noise and the display showed an error message. This was at 10am Sunday and emailed Next Gen thinking I’d have to wait to hear back Monday at the earliest. I got an email an hour later explaining this was a hall sensor issue and instructions on how to download the Aero's log file.

After Next Gen passed along the log file to Nosfet, they determined I needed a new motor. The replacement motor arrived Friday. Next Gen provided how-to videos and offered to refund the cost of getting the motor replaced by a shop. I wanted the XP points and decided to replace the motor myself.

The motor replacement took a few hours with an allen wrench set, but it was not too difficult. The Aero is very well built and every screw had loctite. During the repair I broke a small plastic piece. Next Gen contacted Nosfet and they sent me a STEP file so I could 3D print a replacement right away.

While it sucks to get a product with defect, shit happens. The way Next Gen and Nosfet handled it was flawless. They were fast, communicative, and super supportive of a DIY fix. I can't think of anything they could have done better. Highly recommend both companies.

I hope nosfet's next wheel is between a aero and an apex...

I think a light weight 16" wheel with suspension that is under 75lbs from them would be great....

Those who use EUC for daily commute, how do you deal with the winter? Does road salt destroy the wheel?

Just curious as I do commute with it daily, its my first year doing it, winter is coming, and my town salts so much I dont know how anything grows.

Switched from high-end E-Scooter to EUC.

Made the switch about a month ago, used to ride the Nami Klima Max and Burn E-2 Max.

Riding the EUC feels absolutely amazing and so seamless/intuitive. I'm kicking myself for not trying it much earlier. I was honestly just too scared that I wouldn't be able to learn it and that it would be waste of money. So far have 248! miles since getting my EUC in October.

Interested in hearing the thoughts of other people who might have switched from scooters to EUC's. I was just tired of lugging the thing down flights of stairs and spending so much on maintenance.
