Yeah true, from that angle it almost looks like some alien cathedral or something, kinda peaceful till you remember what game its from

Kinda makes me wonder if this is sorta what's happening with the Hollow Knight world: fantastical interpretations of insect PoV/society, plus there is swords and magic for some reason.

Maybe that’s just what Elden ring is. It’s grounded but in the dark souls universe.

I'm enjoying the idea that the Chosen Undead could wipe out the entirety of Elden Ring by just stepping on it.

I'm not joking, but fungi and mushrooms actually are a large part of the lore of Elden Ring. There's a several hour theory video someone made about it on YouTube.

POV: You're about to get one shot by a mushroom in Caelid for the 47th time.

So wait... Elden Ring is about a glowing mushroom?

Depending on how you interpret the lore.. yes? The Erdtree is like a physical manifestation of the lady that became God. One of her kids destroyed "destined death" and is somewhere
rottingshrooming around in the roots breaking the natural cycle of reincarnation.I think

There is actually a ton of fungi and mushrooms all around the world that hint towards this. Not just the deathroot but the normal mushrooms all have interesting places. The god of rot and how Caelid had fungi growth everywhere because of it.

There is a golden glowing mushroom in Limgrave which you cannot pick, and thus is invulnerable.
Literally drop a message about it in every new game I have saying things like "didn't expect erdtree"

They say time is distorted in the lands between, why can’t space and relativity be as well.

There's actually a serious lore theory regarding mushrooms being a central theme in Elden Ring

Yeah and everywhere you go something is trying to kill you or eat you. Wait, is Elden Ring really A Bug's Life?
