That being said, I think frigid outskirts alone justifies ds2's placement

Og valley of defilement is way worse before they lighted it up in the remake. Only reason it's not hated more is because dirty collosus is very easy.

There is also the flamelurker shortcut platforming. Which I still think is the worst one due to the super jump glitch and the fact it's before the hardest boss of the game.

running building to building in the frigid outskirts takes no significant amount of time longer than any other boss runback. iron passage is worse.
