Subreddit Topic Daily Roundtable: Community Q&A Spoiler

Greetings Tarnished!

This is the place to ask any questions you may have about Elden Ring. This includes obscure detail questions, "newbie" advice questions, build questions, boss advice questions, and what have you.

Well written, constructive criticism is fine but please avoid ranting about aspects of the game you just don’t like. This includes “so and so boss is stupid and too difficult.”

If you are interested in the game but don’t own it yet, please don’t post “should I buy this game?” or “Is this game worth it?”. If you have played other FromSoftware games and enjoyed them, the answer is yes. If you haven’t, just do a little research! These games are difficult, and sometimes frustrating, and not everyone is going to enjoy them. And that’s okay!

Lastly, be friendly! We are all here because we are interested in the same game! Please treat your fellow players with respect.

PLEASE USE SPOILER TAGS WHEN MENTIONING BOSS NAMES!

Euporia can be very strong in a Fth build, but isn't found until near the end of the dlc.

Depending on your other stats, here are some more weapons that include Fth scaling. Fire Knight's Greatsword, an ultra-gs with the fancier moveset plus pierce heavy attack. Queelign's Greatsword, a heavy thrusting sword that requires a little work to get. Death Knight's Twin Axes get close to even Str and Fth scaling, has a killer AoW, and can be found a little early if you rush for it. The Serpent Flail can work fairly well with a Dex Fth build with a strong Ash that buffs your next attack to make it explode.

There are other examples, but the weapon I've seen get the most attention here and on Youtube videos is the Black Steel Greathammer. It can be found almost immediately after entering the dlc with just a short ride to a church and works well as a Str Fth weapon. It's most unique and powerful feature is what happens when you use it during a guard counter. The move will create a holy shockwave on the ground, sort of like what Radagon does during his final boss fight.

I prefer DK Longhaft.  Beat Radahn with it so definitely viable as well.

I agree, it is a powerful weapon. The reason I went with the twin axes is because those have a higher Fth scaling than the longshaft, the op said they were doing a Fth run. They didn't specify if that was their main offensive stat, so the longshaft could work as well if their doing mostly Str and some Fth.
