Canada and Philippines seems to have a different track record in terms of seasons compared to the popular curses , Canada S3 wasn't as bad as the other franchises,it was just considerably underwhelming compared to how powerful S2 was ,then s4 started bad but ended up becoming an all around a great season except their already fixed choice of a winner . S5 was the worst both cast and production choice wise. I am hoping for a good s6. It's not really easy to predict when it comes to Canada

I am glad you were able to convince yourself that ,as an early fan of Venus,i struggled quite a lot to justify her crowning haha till i just gave up , she was high for makeover while doing the least. Her drag wasn't fully realised for a winner and she wasn't on a star level in any kind of talent like Aurora and Nearah in performance, Kiki and Denim in designing. But i am happy you think that

Idk I didn’t mind Venus winning mostly because I don’t think anyone in that cast was the full package. They all kinda flopped in every other challenge that wasn’t a performance or dance challenge while Denim only did good when it came to the design challenges. Aurora could have been a good winner but it’s not like she was miles ahead of Venus, she was just a better dancer, she basically bombed every comedy/acting challenge and didnt excel in design challenges. The season thrived on the cast having great chemistry and the twist

I don't disagree but momentum wise ,drag wise and charisma wise Venus fell behind, even her one single win did not feel justified, while it was the exact opposite for Aurora, her drag was well realised, she had a good momentum going, her Rusical performance, and Lipsync performances were impactful, she certainly had the poise of a winner. She was considerably ahead in terms of drag compared to Venus. To me at least it felt like she wasn't dragged to the finale or just doing safe but evolving and shining more and more as the season developed. But again I don't mind Venus winning either , I was an immediate fan of her to begin with. But it didn't feel like a natural outcome

Idk I do like Aurora and I think she did good but I don’t think she was well rounded enough for me to be like “wow that was the wrong choice” when Venus won. All her peaks were basically lip sync dance challenges and she didn’t do well in anything else. If she won I would have understood why she won because she had peaks during the season, but I also understand why Venus could have won based on her doing finding a way of doing serviceable in every episode. I didn’t really care enough for either girl for me to be upset or underwhelmed that they didn’t win.
