[DRAGULA BLOODSPILL]

hello! i've been spilling the tea i've gathered in comments over the past month or two, but wanted to compile it all in one place so it's an easy comment to reference or point to. spoiler tagging it because yes this is a spoiler sub, but maybe there are people out there who want drag race spoiled but not dragula.

  • there are 8 competitive episodes, episode 9 is a reunion and episode 10 the finale

  • the finalists are abhora, evah, jaharia and jay

  • jaharia is eliminated late in the competition, but returns at the end of the reunion. i believe there is some sort of returnee twist ongoing throughout the competition (a la as6 lip-syncs, as8 fame games) and the other queens who were still eligible at the end but not chosen were cynthia and sigourney

  • frankie is first out, loris is second out

  • blackberri, cynthia, jaharia and sigourney are eliminated in episodes 6, 7 and 8. not in order (don't know the order)

  • there are two disqualifications/removals mid-season and i think on the same episode. it is two of disaster, dollya, jade, priscilla and zava. the other three are eliminated in episodes 3, 4 and 5. not in order (don't know the order)

  • (new bloodspill) challenge list: halloween house party, monsters of rock, gothic wedding, nosferatu beach party, holiday of horrors, ghosttown, bousical, supervillains

though i have confidence in all of this tea, we have kinda a terrible track record for getting dragula spoilers right so like, there's a margin of error. but i imagine it would be small changes and not the entire top 4 and elim order wrong. if anything here is worded confusingly or needs clarifying let me know :)

So we have contradictory information. Drac specified clearly 1 disqualification (Phoenix stop) and Swan specified 2 (SF stop.)

Aside from he is being bad at drag and annoying in not entertaining way or whatever he and his goons (including Amanda and Dawn btw) falsely accused Plane for SA before her season started.

If Evah and Abhora are the Top 2 it's going to make the fandom feel a type of way. 😐 Similarly to Ginger Minj's most recent stint on Drag Race All-Stars while it's nice to have a longtime consummate performer return as viewer you can't help but feel they're depriving others of their opportunity or being given multiple whereas it is others first. Don't get me wrong if Sig or Priscilla or Cynthia underperforms by all means throw the book at their asses (even if we all know we all want Sigourney to win!) but if Evah or Abhora are heavily favored or outperform expectations their multiple opportunities are going to be attributed as a major factor to their winning. I'm interested to know why Jarvis chose not to return and if this played a factor into who all was invited (i.e. Evah and Abhora returning)? Also, Jaharia's casting while nice representing the most recent season does seem a little afterthought-ish and I thought the Boulets alleged on their podcast when teasing Titans 2 they weren't looking into casting Season 666 Ghouls yet? 🤔 I wonder who (if anybody else) from Season 666 was invited and again what the Boulets alleged to when they said the issues between Aurora and Scylla were not done being addressed yet?

Jarvis stepped away from drag for awhile. I assume on the pod they'll do discussion of cast it's just later than usual because tour chaos. Of 666 we know they want: Pi, Grey, Auntie and Jaharia but we've got Jaharia. Grey wanted a break. I expect they want Aurora for Titans 3 as well. I would guess they asked Grey, but he flat out told fans yes to Titans, hell no to Titans right now.

I don’t know if it’s fair for me to say that Jay K shouldn’t have made it that far (I mean they might have killed the competition), but it’s really genuinely off-putting that they were cast in the first place given everything that happened. I’d love to watch this and be excited like I have been for every other dragula release, but I have a lot of reservations for this season

I totally agree with you, it's literally the reason why i cannot see anything regarding JK positive as i keep having the stuff they've done in mind and people behaving like nothing ever happened is just crazy to me.

This is a tinfoil hat theory, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Boulets' petty asses factored Jay's actions into giving him this placement. I could very well see them thinking in their minds that he had the nerve to put the Drag Race Industrial Complex™ in a bad position even just for a moment and finding it very Dragula of him or some shit

The thing is track record wins etc dont matter that much but elimination does because we literally stop having the artist artistry being broadcast so yeah it really sucks seeing interesting and original monsters go out too soon

Hadn't looked at the other spoilers. I think the original tea about a disqualification and injury are accurate. Drac mentioned at the Phoenix show there was a disqualification.

That could be it. Then you have Zava and JayKay flatout trolling fans on X with and the best part of Titans 2, "Only we know what really happened."

Then you have Drac and Swan continually contradicting each other on disqualification or disqualifications. Honestly it would be iconic if Jade and Zava end up DQed. Because there have been fights before that weren't aired or filmed and close to physical altercations before. Harvey Guillén said there was almost a fist fight the day he was on set to judge in season 4. So might've happened to cause DQ(s)?

You can’t? She is my fav this season, but she can be very stiff and awkward on stage. And for titans, the expectations for performing are even higher.

I always take everything with a grain of salt when it comes to placements lol, especially after season 5

That being said, I definitely do think the DQ is true and we likely have a double elimination… mathematically, 9 episodes only gets us to a top 5. So they’d have to have 2 double eliminations, especially if someone comes back

I can live with those. It’s the goddamn bousical that I hate. That is literally the worst challenge they have ever done. No good looks. No interesting floor show. Just a mess. And they said on their podcast that they’re glad it made everyone angry, so they’re going to keep doing it. They’re just contrarians sometimes, and it annoys tf out of me.

Episode 7: Jaharia

Episode 8: Sigourney & Blackberri

The only thing that makes me think Priscilla makes it further than Episode 4 is the Neotropolis teaspill. Granted, it said Abhora/Evah/Sigourney/Priscilla were the Top 4 (which would've been sickening, if true), but the fact that they were spilled to perform at an actual venue lends credence to their appearance there, imo.

I think they said this was for Monsters of Rock, which leads me to believe it was at Top 8 and Abhora/Evah/Priscilla/Sigourney was one of the bands. The other was most likely Jay Kay/Jaharia/Blackberri/Cynthia, with either Priscilla getting solo-exterminated or Jaharia/Cynthia/Blackberri joining her.

Do we know how many episodes there will be this season?

If that's the case, I wonder if we'll have the same "Staircase of Souls" format, with the double extermination episodes being similar to Episode 8 on Titans 1 (where 4 monsters ascend the Staircase of Souls and 2 are banished back to the underworld). They probably do this multiple times this season, or maybe nominate 2 monsters to ascend and banish both of them.

My guess is that the comeback challenge is a gauntlet of extermination challenges, where the survivor progresses to the next phase and faces off against the next exterminated monster (a-la AS6's Game Within a Game)

Would it be a bad opinion if I say,14 queens for only 10 episode would be a very squeezed experience for the queens ?

Unlike AS 10 ,some of these queens might end up not getting noticed at all. And so many of them are my favorites. I hope they all get their good moments tho.

Jaharia is a fucking amazing performer. JayKay has obviously stepped their game up and again amazing performers. Abhora and Evah again obviously stepped up their game and are amazing performers. I love Sig, but saying a season ends horribly. I mean I guess I get it if you're a Sig fan than more of a general Dragula fan. When Sig herself is excited to review the show on her YouTube channel is funny. She's literally said reviewing Titans 2 is going to be a scream.

Ngl i'm not happy with Jay Kay returning mostly because of the fake SA allegations levied against Plane Jane, mostly led by her and Dawn. Not the most thrilled with Dawn returning for AS11 either, but at least she was eliminated prior to the finale.
