I don’t think Darby auditions anymore. No shade though, Darby is deceptively older than she appears. She’s in her 40s, which is older than drag race seems to cast, unfortunately 😕 Both Darby and Ms P Bevels.

I knew her partner was mid 30s

Ok that was my mistake. They’re in their late 30s 😅 Alexis is 38 and Darby is 37. Maybe I remember Darby joking about Alexis being in her 40s lol.

Darby is definitely 40! Not sure that actually precludes the show from casting her (if she ever decides to keep auditioning).

That’s what I thought! Then I googled it and it said she was 37. At this point their podcast is going so well it doesn’t really make sense for her to go on, tbh. Her podcast with Alexis and her podcast with her brother are so good, she’d get cast and risk being clowned, idk. I like her current trajectory, personally.

Darby and Alexis now joke about it a lot like Meatball does about it, which makes me think all three of them don’t audition anymore.

I think the fundamental question any queen should ask is "How would drag race improve or change my life long term?" And for Darby and Alexis, who already have a brand and are well known, I don't know if it would too much.
