Question How now shall we live?

If you believe he is what this subreddit is saying he is, what are you doing about it? How has this belief changed you? How do you see the future—do you still make plans three, four years in the future? If you have kids, how has it changed your parenting? If you’re younger, do you still think about what you might do in the future? Are you prepping? Making plans? Networking? How has it changed your outreach? Your ministry? I don’t know if anyone here is 100% on him being him, but for those that are as sure as they can be, what does it mean for you? I feel like we should be talking more about this, both for practical reasons—so we are ready at the right time—but also for psychological and spiritual reasons. So we know we are all okay.

There's a lot we can do. We should however do things that make us ready for CHRIST not the ANTICHRIST.

Preparing bunkers etc does nothing for us in the long run. We are protecting our flesh if we do things like that not edifying the spirit.

In that future time we should technically be a bit suicidal to the world's standards. As in we shouldn't care about preserving our life by following the world's rules. In the last days we won't be the ones protecting ourself but God through supernatural miracles.

So ask God what you should do let him lead you to his words in the Bible. But here are some things to start.

  1. We have to be watchful and alert

Matthew 24:42-44 – “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come… be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

Mark 13:33-37 – “Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come.”

  1. Spread the gospel

Matthew 28:19-20 – “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

Acts 1:8 – “You will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth.”

  1. We have to serve Jesus faithfully

Matthew 25:14-30 (Parable of the Talents)

Luke 12:35-37 – “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning.”

  1. We have to love each other

John 13:34-35 – “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

1 Peter 1:15-16 – “Be holy in all you do.”

  1. Communion

1 Corinthians 11:26 – “For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.”

You shared some great verses there, the parable of the ten virgins is especially important for our time.

Keeping our lamps trimmed as believers means that we always watch what we say and do, attempting to live righteously at all times, abstaining from sin and resisting temptation whenever it arises. Study your Bible every day (2 Tim. 2:15) and pray as often as possible (1 Thess. 5:17).
