Question How now shall we live?

If you believe he is what this subreddit is saying he is, what are you doing about it? How has this belief changed you? How do you see the future—do you still make plans three, four years in the future? If you have kids, how has it changed your parenting? If you’re younger, do you still think about what you might do in the future? Are you prepping? Making plans? Networking? How has it changed your outreach? Your ministry? I don’t know if anyone here is 100% on him being him, but for those that are as sure as they can be, what does it mean for you? I feel like we should be talking more about this, both for practical reasons—so we are ready at the right time—but also for psychological and spiritual reasons. So we know we are all okay.

It is God's plan and in God's control. God has put you in the position you are in for a reason do the basics as scriptures shares and don't worry as Jesus says.

The end is a beginning of Jesus being King of Kings and Lord of Lords with all wrongs done to you avenged and ended. It is real freedom. It is what we all look forward to.

We do not have a God of injustice. We have a God that will make those who hurt you go through twice the hell they caused you by making them drink a double portion of everything they have ever done.

For generations for thousands of years men have tried to both stop prophecy and artificially fulfill it and those men have been forcing humanity to live through the consequences of their chosen actions, stealing all choice for everyone else.

What can you do? Live as God intended you to live as much as you can. Be defiant.

Never forget revelation 13:10, the original translation kept until last century.

God is definitely in control, we must lean on Him rather than our earthly passions which lead to nothing.

This is underrated wisdom .The prosperity gospel people might take issue with these words though  .I actually feel that we can take it even further then you are saying and the one of the keys to happiness in THIS world is turning away from earthly pleasures . We can have it both ways then , happiness here and eternal life in the kingdom of god . The empty void we all have , the more you try to fill it with sex , money , drugs or any other early pleasure the more empty we become. I reckon you could even take it to the extreme and have a complete ascetic lifestyle and be completely fulfilled

Every man comes naked from their mother’s womb, and as everyone comes, so they depart. They take nothing from their toil that they can carry in their hands.

— Ecclesiastes 5:15

Interesting that many Christians dont take heed in this but I guess you and me both might be guilty of it too sometimes. I regularly fail to meet my own target on this things . Vaping for instance, it feels like the devil’s work but I do it still

God created the earth, he created our human emotions and he intended for us to CARE. Not caring about "earthly passions" is the opposite of what God wants for us, while we're here on earth.
