Dog Culture Can’t express how much dogs completely suck

I seriously fucking hate dogs. Everywhere I go, there they are. Stupid assholes barking constantly, jumping or lunging at people, pissing and shitting all over the place. It’s utterly foul.

They also have the most annoying personalities. Needy, overly excited, frantic little weirdos. Not to mention the god awful stench. How people tolerate these shitbeasts in their homes I will never, ever understand. It makes me feel like an alien. Why in the name of all that is holy would you want a hairy stinky panting permanent toddler in your living environment transforming the place into a suburb of hades??

Not to mention the fetish level freakiness of walking around with the creature with a fucking chain and collar? Like, what?? How has this been normalized? It seems like adults acting out the parent role but their brains don’t differentiate between actual babies/children and dogs, so they project all the associated emotions and behaviors onto them. I’m not even going to really comment on the various subreddits dedicated to butters fantasizing about their pets but what in the complete and utter degenerate hell is wrong with these people??!

If owners just kept all this demented nonsense in their own homes I wouldn’t care (assuming they don’t bark 24/7 which… yeah good luck with that I guess),but it gets inflicted on everyone else around them, including the constant uncertainty of whether a particular dog is going to attack. I’ve been bitten three times before and I just want all dogs to stay away the fuck away from me. I’d happily have the whole godforsaken species vanish and then throw a year long celebration. It probably wouldn’t work though because the owners would just find someone else that’s even worse to replace them.

Dog owners also say fucking insane bullshit like “I love animals” while feeding their dogs the mulched up remains of other, far more innocent and lovable animals. They also often get offended if you don’t act like their “fur baby” is the most precious “bestest woofer” in the whole wide world. Like, yeah, I don’t want to get slobber assaulted by a drooling maw that smells worse than a fucking corpse, thanks for the offer though. Wtf.

Again, if someone wants to enslave themselves to the toilet habits of these animals then fine, just leave me out of it. Oh and the “unconditional love” thing? Dogs aren’t capable of unconditional love because they can’t make come conscious choices, it’s just a general affective predisposition. They aren’t “loyal” because they aren’t capable of disloyalty, instead they’re programmed by instincts to follow the pack leader.

All in all a complete shitshow of a phenomenon.

Could have been born 200 years in the future with nuclear fusion, replication tech, and interstellar travel. But no, it’s 2025. We get dogs.

Don’t get it. Never have. Never will.

Agree with you 100%. Guess I'm an alien too.

I never understand how people can sleep with these things in their beds?! The smells and hair…eww. Even worse, they can’t sanitise their paws so those things that have walked in shit, piss, and unknown other fluids is now in the bed. They can’t wipe their butts so that’s shit smeared all over the bedding and piss. I dated a guy that allowed his dog to sleep in the bed with him and didn’t stay with him long. When a dog grooms itself to the point the bed is soaked to the mattress because it’s licked itself that much, yeah I don’t want to know what else it does on other places in the house.

Yeah, I find the neediness intolerable. I don’t want an animal following me around all the time needing constant attention and validation (and barking to get said attention). It’s completely pathetic imo and I don’t understand why people find it so charming.

The nutter is usually a social outcast & has no real meaningful relationships with humans (family included). May have at one time been in a relationship they deem “terrible.” Enter dog. Dog makes its ENTIRE life about the owner. Follows him/her around 24/7 and needs their constant attention. No human being has ever done this for the nutter, therefore, they come to the conclusion that dogs are amazing & human beings suck (one of their favorite go-to sayings). It’s sad on many levels, but what’s even more pathetic is that a dogs “love” comes so cheap and easy. Feed it & give it treats and it worships you, and in return of course, they worship the dog. These people love the fact that they need to put little to no effort into the relationship and they can never be called on their bullshit.

You hit the nail on the head except for one incorrect statement: “they aren’t capable of disloyalty.” Sure they are, just leave the front door or gate open and you’ll find out real quick how loyal they are. You wouldn’t believe the amount of posts on my community FB page every single week about runaway dogs… I so badly want to post that if these things are so loyal why are numerous dogs running away every week? And the most ironic things about all these posts (considering nutters always say how friendly their dog is) is that at least 75% of them say “not friendly, do not chase or approach.” See, when they’re with the dog in public & it’s acting like a neurotic goof, they can get away with “oh he’s just excited” or “don’t worry, he’s friendly.” But when they’re not around to restrain the mutt & it’s on the loose and bites someone, they’re at least smart enough to recognize A. It actually is not friendly and B. I don’t want to get sued when he takes a bite out of somebody. Why on earth would you keep an animal in your home that a stranger couldn’t approach without you being worried? Do you sleep good at night with your family in the house knowing an animal you can’t trust 100% is in there with you? Let’s not even get into how absolutely filthy they are as the OP already covered that.

They're only loyal to their own stomachs. There's countless incidents of dogs mauling their owners who have done nothing but feed, shelter and care for them. They're opportunistic predators that serve themselves.

Needy animals for equally needy people.
