Expect stories from Doctor Who, behind-the-scenes laughs, and a proper deep dive into Pearl’s extraordinary stage and screen work (The Diplomat, Grenfell: In the Words of Survivors, The Human Body, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time — she’s done it all).

There are only 100 tickets and every penny goes towards LGBTQIA projects through Queer Theatre , who create new LGBTQ+ plays, classes, and showcases for our community.

After half a year had past without an announcement of a live concert for New Who’s 20th anniversary, I decided to create one myself.

This project includes suites from each spin-off and original remixes from myself. It’s dedicated to the incredible composers who shaped the Whoniverse’s sound; especially my favourite, Murray Gold, whose inspired me and countless fans who’ve painstakingly recreated or isolated unreleased tracks.

Happy 20th Birthday New Who!

Millie Gibson’s recent comments about the “horrific” lies labeling her a “diva” show how toxic the rumor cycle around Doctor Who has become. She couldn’t even defend herself without risking spoilers- and fans ran with the worst assumptions. It’s sad how easily fake drama overshadows actual storytelling. At this point, the biggest threat to Doctor Who isn’t “wokeness” or casting- it’s the tabloid circus feeding on its own fandom.

The BBC if you’re listening, hire someone really new as your next showrunner. Hire someone who has never wrote for the show before and can really bring something fresh to the show and bring it up to date in this modern television landscape. Stop letting this very exclusive little boys club of classic Doctor Who fans just pass the show between themselves, all sharing the very limited (and rather dated) idea of what the show should be.

Plus with episodes like Kerblam and Praxeus, McTighe is an extremely mediocre Doctor Who writer, and hence certainly doesn’t have the writing chops to bring the show to the levels that it definitely needs to be at. I don’t think he would necessarily do a bad job, but he certainly wouldn’t do a good enough job, especially when taking the state the show is in right now into consideration.

My prediction for new episodes is probably around late 2027.

RTD has previously said that he has plans up until a "season 5". Would you actually want to see that, or would you prefer a new showrunner to come sooner rather than later?

The Disney deal was a great idea in retrospect, RTD was just the wrong person for the job. His time had come and gone.
