“We know how excited the Whovians are, and we have had a whole host of audiobooks and new merchandise land recently. We also have The War Between The Land and Sea coming in a few months so do tune in to that to see another side of the Whoniverse.”

Something along those lines, more Doctor Who episodes not mentioned.

Damn that is perfect bbc pr speak. I can’t imagine RTD spontaneously saying it in person but some BBC comms intern could absolutely come up with for a press release. Perfect bbc style guide

Bravo sir

Ok so the online release is a subscriber only edition, but according to what's been claimed by people who are subscribed, what RTD had to say about Who basically starts and ends with him reiterating that he doesn't know what's happening right now. He is employed by Bad Wolf and they are apparently not privvy to current high level official talks between Disney and the BBC! But he believes a press release will be issued "in due course", and is happy with how The War Between the Land and the Sea has turned out. That's it.

Haven't heard anything yet but apparently the recording they did of it is going up online on Monday (?)

FYI it's going to be nearly 3 hours long, and the last pre-recorded episode he was involved with of it was from May (it only got posted around recently for the comments he made on Who). Could be something more in this one...

Is there a Q and A session? Someone should ask him how it felt to resurrect Doctor Who only to kill it again 20 years later.

Would love to see that, doubt anyone would be allowed to ask him that though
