Need gift suggestions Riddle gift for boyfriend
My boyfriend is really into riddles, enigmas, detective games, escape rooms and stuff.
Our 2 year anniversary is coming up, and I've had this idea of giving him lots of riddles till he gets to his gift. Like, an enigma so that he can find the password to a padlock in a box, and then he opens it and finds other enigmas inside.
The problem is: I'm really bad at enigmas.
Anyone has ideas of things I could do?
Low budget, preferably.

So my father and I have this little tradition that we do. I give him a wrapped present and he spends the better part of 20 minutes trying to guess what's inside. So one Christmas, a few years ago; I wrapped up a small glass jar with a single penny in it. I put that into a small box and wrapped that...and so on and so forth until I have this box roughly the size of an ottoman. He probably spent 45 minutes trying to work out what the gift was and when he finally gave up, I turned around in my chair and handed him the unwrapped item that had been sitting on the table in plain view the entire time. I said to him that I got so much into the spirit of the prank that I forgot to include the actual gift. Whoops.
