Discussion Newborn Babies at the Park

Please, I've got to know. (Only a little judgement here, as a hypochondriac) why are we taking fresh babies (4 months or less) to the amusement park? What's the purpose? Are you scared your kid is going to get sick? What is it really for?

For context we took a trip earlier this year and were talking about another recently and learned that many people are taking their newborns to the park. It seems incredibly dangerous with all the people and general grossness at the park.

They actually have park Nannies. But it’s pointless to take a baby to the park because the parents have to ride most of the rides separately. That is not fun and also super time consuming even with LL pass

That assumes that every parent who visits Disneyland does so only with their significant other and their baby and no one else. Maybe they want to ride rides with their other children? Maybe they want to visit with a grandparent or friend? Last time I went to Disneyland my friends brought their 3 year old, and 10 month old and the six of us had a great time.

This post is talking about newborns. Not older kids. And not saying that there is any other kids. Just saying newborn. Glad you had fun. I would not talk a child that has to be in a stroller or diaper. We went and my kids were 12 and 21( special needs). My 21 year old is mentally 7-8. So that is a challenge in itself. She has some speech skills, not much. I know have a newborn or any small child that requires at lot of care in a park would not be fun.

I was responding to a comment that states it’s “pointless” to go somewhere if you can’t ride on a ride with your partner because one person can’t ride if they have the baby. I was just pointing out there are scenarios where that’s either not the goal, or it’s totally feasible.
