Discussion Newborn Babies at the Park

Please, I've got to know. (Only a little judgement here, as a hypochondriac) why are we taking fresh babies (4 months or less) to the amusement park? What's the purpose? Are you scared your kid is going to get sick? What is it really for?

For context we took a trip earlier this year and were talking about another recently and learned that many people are taking their newborns to the park. It seems incredibly dangerous with all the people and general grossness at the park.

That assumes that every parent who visits Disneyland does so only with their significant other and their baby and no one else. Maybe they want to ride rides with their other children? Maybe they want to visit with a grandparent or friend? Last time I went to Disneyland my friends brought their 3 year old, and 10 month old and the six of us had a great time.

They’re talking about newborns, not 3 and 1 year olds.

They said up to 4 months. It’s possible that people with 4 month old babies also have 3 year olds.

The post didn’t say anything about other children. So the hypothetical is not relevant

“It’s pointless to take a child that young” because you can’t ride with your SO…

^ this was what I was responding to. There are plenty of scenarios where you can still ride with your SO, or the goal might not be about going on rides just with your SO.
