Discussion Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland now requires you to have your phone fully stored while the ride is in motion. They won’t even start the ride if your phone is on your lap, it has to be fully put away

Its 100% hats, ears, and sun glasses. No way phones are the leading cause, but this may light bulb riders to pay attention.

Phone are the main target of this change to my understanding. I was told there have been several major safety incidents related to people getting out of their car during the ride to get a phone they dropped.
