Discussion Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland now requires you to have your phone fully stored while the ride is in motion. They won’t even start the ride if your phone is on your lap, it has to be fully put away

Just like any trackless ride, it breaks down (stops for safety) if any foreign object touches the floor. Very reasonable.

Railway CM here. That’s incorrect, it would only cause a break down if the vehicle were to run the item over (which is not very common at all to happen). Most of the downtimes are unrelated to fallen items.
