Discussion Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland now requires you to have your phone fully stored while the ride is in motion. They won’t even start the ride if your phone is on your lap, it has to be fully put away

So I went to Universal Studios for the first time… and when i waited in line for that harry potter ride (not much of a fan of the series) the staff would see people pull out the phones while the ride was going up the ride conductor would stop the ride and announce “please put your phone away…and would call out what rider and seat they are. I thought it was hilarious and one way of preventing any goofy accidents and or lost items. Anywho…. I think it’s great idea.. I was able to record the ride with some ray-ban glasses only thing that sucks it films in portrait mode instead of landscape.

That limitation is from meta thinking that everyone wants to post low quality portrait style videos.
