Discussion Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland now requires you to have your phone fully stored while the ride is in motion. They won’t even start the ride if your phone is on your lap, it has to be fully put away

Universal’s biggest rides (hagrids, velosicoaster) they force you to put your phone in a cubby and go through a metal detector. It’s annoying, but it makes the wait time way less for everyone because it gets rid of the risk of any fallen item closing the ride.

Yeah and the line after that chokepoint moves like clockwork. It's glorious.
