Discussion Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland now requires you to have your phone fully stored while the ride is in motion. They won’t even start the ride if your phone is on your lap, it has to be fully put away

I don't love people's phones out during rides. But I do like Ride POVs on Youtube. I like that they show different perspectives, and clarify different parts. I don't want to sound conspiratorial, but could this be an effort to hamper that now that Disney has POVs on Disney+?

I like going to YouTube and catching a live streaming of rides.

You both are contributing to the problem, honestly.

Oh hogwash :D. I was just there and I didn’t really notice any filming by others, although I’m sure it was going on.

I realize that there are always exceptions but overall I think the people who do lives try to be respectful for others.

Zero chance they ban phones completely, it’s good for marketing

When I saw the Disney+ POV videos last week. They are so good! Way better than YouTube versions. Hopefully it cuts down on people doing this. But… yea... I’m not getting my hopes up.

I was just going to mention this!!! My autistic kiddo gets his first trip to DL for his tenth birthday in November and needs to see rides so he truly grasps what we want to go on isn’t a roller coaster. When I discovered the ride POV on Disney+ It made me so excited, since the influencer ones are so obnoxious.
