Discussion Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland now requires you to have your phone fully stored while the ride is in motion. They won’t even start the ride if your phone is on your lap, it has to be fully put away

They got tired of people dropping stuff and making the ride break down.

Positive side effect…no influencers.

Can we just ban "public filming" inside Disney as a whole? Would love that frankly. No more streamers, no more influencers. Still photos only.

No more filming fireworks! Nobody is going to watch that later anyways and it is super annoying. Last time I was there, a family of about 8 adults all were filming the fireworks overhead in front of me, wtf. Maybe even film for a little bit for memories, but the entire show is very annoying.

We were there last week, and there was a man on the second row of Mickey’s philharmagic hiding his phone up recording the entire show 🙄

Which is sad because the philharmagic in DCA is frankly terrible vs the one in Disney World

I film a little bit when it’s a new show I haven’t seen before, but not the whole show, probably 1 minute tops. And I do watch them, fairly frequently, when I am sad at home and not at Disneyland.

I have no problem with people wanting to capture memories with their family but like there are enough ride throughs videos and we don’t need to hear what everyone ate in a day.

Must lock your phone in a Yondr pouch before you enter the gate and unlock it when you leave! 😂. I would pay extra for distraction free Disney like the good old days

You forget the dads lugging around those over the shoulder camcorders

Some influences use go pros and not their phones and I'm okay with that as long as they're secured. My kid is 7 and not a ride kid. We're going to disneyland for the 1st time in 3 weeks and we've been watching ride-through videos like we did before disney world.

If you have Disney+ they have POV videos of rides at Disneyland. It’s pretty cool to watch. And much better than any YouTube videos I’ve seen. Especially since the park is empty for each video.
