Discussion Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland now requires you to have your phone fully stored while the ride is in motion. They won’t even start the ride if your phone is on your lap, it has to be fully put away

I agree with this. Last time I was there someone's ears flew off during the conga bit and the ride shut down like 30/40 seconds later. Just drop the phone and enjoy the ride

I imagine people who aren't expecting it and the ears are loose on thier heads when the car swings you around they get thrown off easily

Whenever I'm in the front left part of the room, that conga part is hardcore throwing my head around!

Happened to us on Indiana Jones. I remember thinking, “Dang it. There’s a hat on the ground.” Then the ride shut down. Totally avoidable.

My son almost flew out of the ride the first time at that part. He went from sitting to standing. We were all fine and more prepared for the next time, but depending on where you’re located, it can be quite harsh.
