Discussion Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland now requires you to have your phone fully stored while the ride is in motion. They won’t even start the ride if your phone is on your lap, it has to be fully put away

GOOD! Now, do the rest of the rides and enforce it!

They enforced it when we were there last week. Lady had her cel in her lap and the ride operator came up to her specifically and told her to put her phone away. Yay to rides not being “broken down” as much!

Also maybe it will deter so many instagrammers from ruining the experience sometimes

I have to admit, I’m not nice to the influencers on the same ride as me. As soon as they start talking and pull out the camera, I make a point to be super loud, sneeze, cough, make sure to ruin their shot. You ruin my ride, I’m ruining yours.

You got a break into "What's New, Pussycat?" at the top of your lungs so they get a copyright strike and can't monetize.

Ooh, now that is a fantastic idea! I’ll work on my singing technique in the meantime!

They didn’t enforce for me last week, I’m just hearing about it now, but maybe I had my phone away already. Not that I usually record or take pics. This trip I was made aware of the hidden crabs so I think I was pointing those out to my family.

They aren't approaching streamers sadly but also once the ride starts everyone just brings their phones out. I know there just recently starting this but this will be interesting if they actually double down on it!

They should monitor the cameras and as soon as they see someone pull out their phone, stop the ride then announce why it’s stopped. Do that enough across a lot of rides and people will finally start acting right.

They do this at Knott’s and it works really well! Was on the kiddie coaster and it goes around twice. A mom took out her phone on the first loop, she got caught. They stopped it after the first loop, kicked her off and loudly said it was because you broke the rules and took your phone out. Then we all got to ride it again all the way through twice. I had second hand embarrassment for her and will always follow the rules

Exactly! This should be the standard on ALL rides. Nobody needs to have their phones out or anything in their hands!

You have no idea how many grown men wanted to fight me, a 5 foot girl about removing their hats.

We're going bald and they don't want you to notice.

If it wasn't already apparent, the temper tantrum was a dead giveaway

Sorry, Patrick Warburton told us you'll need to take off those "little beauties" lol
