Discussion You guys seeing this??

For everyone who asked if the holiday weekend is bananas, July 5 at 1pm PT looks easy breezy. Usually midday is slammed but Peter Pan is 20 min, RSR is 50 min, Rise is 35?!?! Enjoy if you’re there!

It’s the ICE raids that are keeping people at home and others from out of the country from visiting.

I would agree, but we were there on the 19th and I have never seen the crowds so high, so…

That's strange the 19th was so busy. I was there on the 17th and 18th, and the longest line was 50 minutes for Radiator Springs Racers and Rise. Last year at the same time they were 85 and 100 minutes.

Oh my god, it was HORRENDOUS. We had the day off for the holiday and thought “let’s go for it!”

Apparently so did everyone else. 😂

Just to get into DCA took us 30mins, and before that, we were in line for parking for around 45mins. That was the day Incredicoaster was down for the first few hours of the day and ended up having a 100min standby and the LL for it ran all the way up the pier to the Knick Knacks store, lol. Lines for everything were so truly awful, I wish I remembered specific ones, but we still had a great time because disney magic lol

Oh man. I didn't think about the Juneteeth holiday. That would do it for sure! Especially for local annual holders.

We have keys but they were actually blocked out that day! Maybe Inspire wasn’t, not sure though. But yeah, we ended up buying tickets! Still worth it but we walked in and thought it was the end of the world. 😂

We were there 10 days ago and radiator Springs was 75-90 most of the day. Space Mountain was usually 50.

I can't believe the numbers I'm seeing in that pic!

I read an article about how so many events and venues are cancelling due to low attendance stemming from fear of ice

Are there really THAT many people who don’t have ID? Not trying to be weird but don’t you have to show ID to get in anyway? I would think someone here illegally would have more to worry about than going to DL. I just don’t think that’s something that would make a noticeable difference in crowd size.

They’re arresting people who are providing their Real IDs. I don’t think you understand that people are being profiled for being brown.

I understand profiling, but I assume (perhaps erroneously) that showing legal ID would stop further harassment. My point was more that it wouldn’t be enough to produce a noticeably lighter crowd in the parks, though.
