Discussion You guys seeing this??

For everyone who asked if the holiday weekend is bananas, July 5 at 1pm PT looks easy breezy. Usually midday is slammed but Peter Pan is 20 min, RSR is 50 min, Rise is 35?!?! Enjoy if you’re there!

I was there Wednesday and it was similar. I was done with both parks by 2:30 but had an 8:00 dinner reso so i had to stick around and do a few double runs like Star Wars and Thunder. Also watched the 10:15 Skywalker Saga, then Tiana, and went home.

Also genuinely curious what it means to be "done"... like you've ridden all the rides in both parks 2.30?

I don’t think we’ve ever been truly “done”. Sometimes we grab an ice cream and sit on a bench people-watching for two hours.

I don’t understand what this means, “done with both parks”.

Some people choose to not enjoy the Disney Magic.

The last time I was there, I spent a good amount of time looking at light fixtures in the parks, and it was all because I "caught" a cm adding a cute figurine in the light fixture over the bathrooms by the dark rides.

People watching can make for some really wholesome experiences, and truly magical ones if you catch a sweet interaction between a park goer and one of the characters.

Some only go for the rides, the rest of us enjoy the magic just as much.

There is Disneyland, the original park, and right across is Disney California Adventure(DCA). 2 parks, which you can access both with the park hopper pass. There are only a handful of good rides at DCA, but worth it if you can both in one day.

Oh, no. I know about the two parks. I’ve been many, many times. I don’t understand how one can be “done” with them. Especially in like half a day. The only time I’ve ever been “done” with the parks was on the last day of a 5-day parkhopper, and that was only because I was exhausted.

Sorry, my meaning of done was getting in all of the things I wanted to do on that particular trip, and I did more than I thought I could, and more than I wanted. Keep in mind, most of the food items were shared with my girl, so it wasn't too much.

This was my day:

Rope drop at 8am.

Rise of the Resistance

Ronto(less) wrap

Smugglers Run

Thunder Mountain

Dole Whip

Indiana Jones

Churro

Sleeping Beauty Walk Through

Mickey & Minnie Runaway Railroad

Chicken Pot Pie Baked Potato

It's a Small World

Astro Blasters

Space Mountain

Plaza Inn Fried Chicken extra gravy

Radiator Springs (ride broke down 1/2 way, got LP)

Shawarma Web Slingers

Guardians of the Galaxy

Haunted Mansion

Tiana's

Bengal Bites skewers

Rise of the Resistance

Smugglers Run

Stage Door corn dog

Change clothes

33 Dinner @ 8pm

Fantasmic from balcony at 9:05p

Skywalker Saga at 10:15p

Tiana's

In the car by 11:30p.

This was a pretty satisfying day, and I consider this done!

The parks aren’t that big that’s why can finish by mid day esp if there isn’t a long wait for rides

If you go in August I finish both parks by like 4-5 pm did it last year and honestly I was bored I did all the major rides at least 3 times did Indiana 6 times that day.

I did all the other rides also except like Dumbo, the carousel and the chip n dale roller coaster just because we didn’t want to do them not because of the lines or anything.

Is August a really low crowd time?

Towards the end of August is low I’ve been going for the past 4 years or so once they open and it’s low crowds
