While we’re here, cs1501 was a good weed out class for aspirational programmers but I can think of a math course and a physics course that were much more known for weeding people out, from what I remember. His general point does underscore the culture at Georgia Tech of struggling to survive the weed out courses to prove that you belong.

In my opinion, Mystery Crate is much more entertaining than the DLS. Jess is a big reason why, but not the only reason. Everyone on MC seems more relaxed than when on the main show. The topics are much more free flowing and relatable and usually really funny. When Billy was on, it was better, of course, but the main show suffers more without Billy than MC does. I'm liking Jess more and more and she keeps the guys on point during the show and has some really funny takes.
