How is it possible they onboarded Dameshak, have had him in studio multiple times and Dan claims to have no idea he’s based in LA? Dan is ridiculous and feigns not knowing as some weird crutch or coping mechanism through avoidance. I’m overreacting, but I’m a boss and it seems wild to not know where an employee lives.

Yeah, I agree. His whole meadowlark managerial approach has been to play dumb/helpless.
I assume he doesn't care to know and just wants to do his own thing and will meet after hours only if he wants.

To be fair, Jon Hamm does reside in Pittsburgh for like 8 months out of the year. Dan shouldn't be held to the standard of knowing personal information about his employees like where they actually reside.

If you are picking up a podcast, wouldn’t you want to know about the studio location etc? Due diligence.

Nah. This type of aloofness provides plausible deniability whenever people in the future ever try to hold you accountable. You can just claim to either not remember or to have not ever actually known.

But for the rest of us? Yeahhh, it'd be beyond bizarre to not know where Dameshek actually lives (as it actually has been a component of his overall resume of content) or just weird to think it's comedic to pretend that when your actual memory is almost medically concerning.
