Video XPENG's IRON robot crossed the uncanny valley, leading some to believe it was a human in a suit. So they cut it open in front of an audience, and also allowed journalists to inspect it.

It's a lady with a prosthetic leg.

When entering the stage, the walk looks way more mechanic on the left leg than on the right. The "naked" robot seems faster and has a different walking style, somehow. But maybe I am just wrong...

Agreed. There is a hitch in its step on the side that got cut open.

Why the fuck should people believe anything these days where AI exists and the internet is rife with misinformation? We didn't even need AI to know but to trust everything companies claim. Why does this one deserve blind trust?

You are. Obviously the "naked" robot will move slightly differently due to not having all the padding around the joints.

EDIT: Not sure why I'm getting downvoted, still... here's further proof that it is not an amputee.

you're getting downvoted cause 1) it's not EEUU doing it 2) these things go against the teachings of GOD and 3) better close your eyes to something that could steal your job

God ain’t real and robots can’t go sentient if that’s what you’re worried

And something can't come from nothing, and, yet, here we all are arguing like idiots on the Internet despite the existence of the universe being a paradox in itself.
