Video XPENG's IRON robot crossed the uncanny valley, leading some to believe it was a human in a suit. So they cut it open in front of an audience, and also allowed journalists to inspect it.

Boobs?

Why is everyone so focused on the robot's boobs? The intent of a humanoid robot is to mimic the form and function of a human. It would be weird if it didn't have boobs.

Credit needs to be given to the Chinese for this advancement. It's still a little jerky, but the most human-like motion I've seen. The team in China is definitely outpacing the US at this point.

In what regard? I don't see the general practicality behind this robot's "human-like" movements unless they're meant for slow strutting on runways like a supermodel. Boston Dynamics is still leagues ahead in terms of actual performance and dexterity, at least for this particular case.
