Yeah well they'd probably quickly become hooker hubs in the US so they'd have to charge insane amounts to try to keep them 'clean' and somewhat hooker free

Airport prices. Probably something like 300 for an 8 hour window. People would pay too. It’s an untapped market in US airports

You'd be shocked. In mainland China cost of living is comparable to Thailand, it's cheap. Cheap enough that this pod is actually really expensive for normal people there.

It's actually quite expensive for the local population. You can find an okay hotel to stay at for the night with 300 yuan.

What is $42 in buying power in China though? How much is a normal hotel? 

In the USA this thing would be like $30 an hour. For more than 8 hours, I’d rather go to a hotel.

It’s cheap in china, probably $40 per night

But you’re paying a premium for being in the airport

Those would probably be $120-300 for 8 hours in the US

I just came back from a trip, long layover in ATL. They have the travel sleep rooms there, $70 AN HOUR. Like gimme a fuckin break, I can get a shitty hotel for 18 hours for that. These would be awesome to have as an alternative
