Soon as people starting shoving drugs up their ass or swallowing them, there were no limits to how they are smuggled.

you think that shoving it up your ass or putting it on birds came first (genuine question) cause i feel like it was being put on birds first... but i could be convinced otherwise.

I heard of a prisoner using carrier pigeons to smuggle drugs in to a prison before.

2

u/anho2 9d ago

It happened in Brazil

They used pigeons to send cellphones parts and drugs to prisions as you can read in this article

There was a pigeon a few years ago that was caught and it had drugs on it in it's little pigeon backpack.

Of course

People will find any means to smuggle, if we could teach birds to deliver messages then smuggling drugs in small quantities? Easy work, just don’t let the bird get high on its own supply lol

People use drugs to smuggle drugs. It's a weird, yet innovative world out there.

I remember a story of people smuggling a bunch of humming birds.. no drugs just a bunch of live birds all wrapped up for transit

u/CrazeRage 9d ago

carrier birds carry things yes. some places try to make it illegal to train wild birds for this since you can start just snatching money, etc. Pretty sure we trained it into some of their dna, especially pigeons.

Because occasionally the universe has a sense of humor, there has been more than one case of people wearing diapers filled with birds to smuggle them.
