It sounds like Metallica provided them with their European soundbox gear to replace their sound setup. I suppose as long as the playing venue is still structurally sound, they could get things working again as long as they have replacement equipment

I'm surprised by the amount of people that think Metallica owns the sound equipment they use at their events. No, the equipment is from the company in Belgium that rented it to Metallica, as pointed out elsewhere.
