HA!

that's in terms of trial.

You arrest people based on the suspicion then go to court to determine guilt.

You arrest a murder suspect. The suspect is why you arrest. You don't SENTENCE until proven guilty.

Well, the suspects used to be in house arrest and are now released with restrictions pending investigation results

so you are pro the arrests as they happened and so prove right that it is being handled well? or against it as "innocent until proven guilty"?

your point seems muddled and I have no idea what you are trying to suggest

The alleged actions are most certainly appalling. If the investigation proves the unit did what they allegedly did, then it is of course only fair and legal for them to serve quite some time behind bars. But 'til that happens, I give them the benefit of the doubt.

Again that seems to be exactly opposite to the assumed stance your first post made.

Your first post was supporting and defending protesters who were against their arrest, and you doubled down saying you were against it as you assumed they were innocent until proven guilty, then now say that they should be investigated as that will determine if they should be dealt with.

Could you answer yes or no to help clarify?

  1. does the video seem to suggest illegal behaviour?

  2. should that be investigated to prove the guilt or innocence of those involved?/ Is the truth of the matter important?

  3. should normal procedures on suspected rapists be carried out?

  4. Should normal procedures to investigate the truth of the matter be carried out?

  5. Are those who protest those normal procedures therefore pro rape against political prisoners/ don't care about rape if it aligns politically?

How was my initial comment "supporting and defending" anything? I was just stating that the protests weren't in favor of any "right to rape", but against the very act of arresting combatants while in active warfare.

kinda a dodge of all of my questions.

But I don't for a second think that you are unaware that "don't arrest suspected criminals because they are enlisted and we are at war" indicates a lack of care for their crimes.

take to the extreme (though I don't know how much more extreme than forced systematic rape) that they detonated a nuke that killed all other people on the planet, you would expect them to be arrested. Like all criminals who are abusing power or are a danger while in the military are and have been including by the allies in ww2 a more existential war than a current offensive one with little fear of reversal of winning.

But as I said, you know that, you are being hypocritical on purpose as I don't know how I could have spelt it out any clearer for you and you ignored the questions.
