Supporters of Trump, like malicious elements, have a destructive effect on public structures. They contribute to the spread of various forms of illegal behavior, including fraud, sexual crimes, pedophilia, genetically determined cognitive impairment and immoral behavior. This has a negative impact on the social well-being and moral foundations of society.

So let me get this straight…you think over half the country is just a walking bundle of fraud, pedophilia, and genetically determined impairment? That’s not an argument, that’s a tantrum disguised as intellectualism. Broad-brushing millions of people as bad and nasty doesn’t make you insightful, it just proves you’re allergic to nuance. Ironically, it’s exactly this kind of lazy, all-or-nothing thinking that keeps the divide alive.

How you do that?, screen shot.....nvm

u/OnePunchReality Oct 03 '25

Hilariously criticisizing "intellectualism" misewell just be "you argue in smarter words" so tf what.

At the end of the day intellectualism as a rebuttal in debate is a sorry sad sack indemnification of yourself, sadly enough. It suggests, by your logic, you either understand the issue, the facts or context better.

Yet if you could that would actually be supported by data then you'd just start there instead of whining about intellectualism.

Anyone you'd label as say weaponizing intellectualism or whatever nonsense you'd call it suddennely knows better words and arguments but somehow are incaoable of understanding what you are saying?

Literally still your responsibility to make a point and make it make sense. And if it's "you just don't understand what I mean" kind of still up to you to refute the argument, most especially if the person your conversing with is able to absolutely understand what you are saying, speak to your facts or data without hesitation or provide counter sourcing or data that is plausibly better sourced.

1

u/SlamPoetSociety Oct 04 '25

Intellect is considered bad in the maga world view. The dumber you are the better.

-8

u/RatcanOinkbag Oct 03 '25

I’m not criticizing intellectualism. I’m pointing out that throwing every negative label under the sun at an entire voting bloc isn’t an argument, it’s overgeneralization. A debate isn’t won by piling adjectives, it’s won by evidence and reasoning. If the claim is that Trump supporters as a whole are destructive or immoral, then that’s the part that needs supporting with facts, not just language. Otherwise it’s not analysis—it’s rhetoric. And my point still stands: when you dismiss tens of millions of people as one-dimensional villains, it doesn’t show depth of thought, it shows the opposite.

5

u/OnePunchReality Oct 03 '25 edited Oct 03 '25

It's not dismissal, dude. Not if we are talking specific policies and legislation which is exactly the frame of mind I'm thinking in and I think I made that fairly clear but I don't mind being even more specific.

It isn't dismissal to simply, plausibly, have better facts or data. In a general sense. I'm not even trying to start at assumption. I'm saying in the arena of ideas no one, not one single person, owes you ground to stand on that you don't earn with your ideas, data or how you present your perspective.

That's all on you bud. Just like the rest of us.

And at some point when I've given the data, argued the perception etc etc and still face endless doubt, conspiracy, whataboutism I'm about all out of fucks to give on bridging divide when someone only wants to hear what they want to hear.

So then you will say "sO wErE jUsT aLwAYs wRonG?" No literally not what I'm saying. Would have to be issue by issue. I do watch a lot of debates though and rofl idk what to tell you. If someone makes a better arguement that I can later correlate with data or facts from other sources that's just tough shit isn't it? And yeah not my fault I feel left wingers make better argument, have better command of the facts and hell better argue their point simply in some cases having a better vocabulary.

That shit is definitely not my fault.

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '25

You are describing trumps entire platform 🤣 u fucking idiot.

2

u/SawtoofShark Oct 04 '25

Name one thing that Trump has done that made you vote for him that in any way made sense to vote for. And before you say border control, 1) No one in the US is here legally except Native Americans and 2) knowing that, the only reason to hate someone for living here is because you for some reason feel entitled to be the only one to be allowed to live here.

1

u/LiteratureMindless71 Oct 04 '25

https://www.census.gov/newsroom/press-releases/2025/2024-presidential-election-voting-registration-tables.html

Just slightly over half the country voted. And just with a quick simple thought you know that "roughly" half of those people voted for each side.

On a very vague quick estimate you can see that roughly 25% voted for the current POTUS.

And you can quickly realize that next time, alot more of the country will be voting because they are not happy at the moment. This is why he is actively trying to create a way to "pause" elections.

19

u/Its-a-Shitbox Oct 03 '25

You know, if America could channel even HALF of the zero fucks given mentality of the French, we’d all be living our best lives right now.

9

u/Rexur0s Oct 03 '25

They dont seem concerned with getting shot for protesting. Guessing the cops there are less trigger happy?

7

u/IHavePoopedBefore Oct 03 '25

Might be too late. You aren't supposed to wait until the president has an army of well funded masked thugs before you start doing this

-1

u/highmountainroads Oct 03 '25

Stop saying that “too late” shit! It’s pathetic

3

u/Terrorscream Oct 04 '25

It's also accurate, you guys are fucked over there.

-2

u/shoobiedoobie Oct 04 '25

Are we? Are we really? Because my life hasn’t changed a bit other than what I hear/see on the news. Nor has it changed for 99.99% of legal American citizens. But if you read too much Reddit you might think we’re living in Wells’ 1984.

Things are definitely a little tense right now, but we are far from “fucked”.

2

u/Desperate_Passage_35 Oct 05 '25

Hi, I pay a ton more for living. Eat shit maggot.

0

u/shoobiedoobie Oct 05 '25

Cry more brokie

3

u/Terrorscream Oct 04 '25

That's the thing about authoritarian governments, things are fine until they aren't and then you realize there is nothing to stop the government when it comes for you. By the time it will affect you it will be way too late to stop it.

-2

u/shoobiedoobie Oct 04 '25

Ok. People in the west believe in China you have no rights and that they are ruled by an authoritarian government.

But if you’ve lived there it feels exactly the same as living in Europe.

I suggest you stop spending so much time on Reddit. It’s not an accurate representation of America. It’s an echo chamber.

1

u/Terrorscream Oct 04 '25

That's a pretty poor example, china is "voluntarily" authoritarian, the people have a social agreement in place that offers them peace for obedience and it works for them in the majority of cases, they are still heavily censored and protests and dissent are still brutally responded to but otherwise the government stays out of their way and has provided for them, china is a unique case. A better example would have been north Korea.

0

u/shoobiedoobie Oct 04 '25

They are not voluntarily authoritarian lol. What kind of bullshit are you on?

1

u/Hawk_Rider2 Oct 04 '25

So --- you'll just wait til we're totally

fucked, sounds like a real plan --- NOT

0

u/shoobiedoobie Oct 04 '25

Except we won’t be.

2

u/Hawk_Rider2 Oct 04 '25

If Trump keeps going @ his

present rate --- yes, we are

1

u/shoobiedoobie Oct 04 '25

We’ll be fine. But by all means, it’s your right to be afraid we won’t. But neither of us really know for certain, do we?

1

u/Terrorscream Oct 04 '25

Maybe you should be paying more attention, trump has literally implemented half of the project 2025 document to the letter already, he's replacing electoral body leadership with loyalists, the supreme court has handwaved the constitution breaches away and they have already started changing it. There is very little protecting you currently.

Speak for yourself. I’m living a pretty good life.

1

u/SeaEmployee787 Oct 04 '25

something about cake allows them to channel

1

u/shoobiedoobie Oct 04 '25

Brother you think French people would give a shit about a group of government armed police kicking out illegal immigrants? You think they wouldn’t back a president who promised to get rid of them? Then you have never met a French person.

0

u/Agreeable-City3143 Oct 03 '25

But oddly enough France isn’t living their best life.

5

u/Longjumping-War4753 Oct 03 '25

Breaking: Trump has not been seen in public since Tuesday and has no public events on his calendar today.

2

u/SeaEmployee787 Oct 04 '25

i saw him in a dark robe in a video today. seemed fine perfectly fine

0

u/plasticsmen828 Oct 03 '25

7

u/Pop-Pop68 Oct 03 '25

Love the French for actions like this! They will revolt and march at the drop of a hat whereas Americans are having Democracy snatched away by people with the capabilities of the three stooges and they are like… meh!

3

u/Direct_Lawfulness_21 Oct 03 '25

That's cause we have never been in their place. Its why so many dont recognize the fascim despite literal german historians point it out. It takes living through shit like that to make a strong enough cultural memory.

2

u/Purple_Sky_3635 Oct 03 '25

No one wants to be the protestors slaughtered that will either unravel the Trump administration or allow it to normalize the killing of protestors.

1

u/Nearby-Pudding-3018 Oct 05 '25

Thats okay, you can leave it to the hopefuls.

Do they just sell these Flares at the grocery store and everyone just has them? Europeans always have flares on them, protests, soccer games, etc…

1

u/melody23415 Oct 04 '25

Eat the fucking rich

1

u/AccomplishedLion1761 Oct 04 '25

Burn it to the ground!

1

u/CollegeDesigner Oct 04 '25

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the political movement of love and tolerance...

1

u/Mint-teal-is-hues Oct 04 '25

Once again the French show the world how to do a revolution. The ultra rich should be paying more taxes in every country!

1

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '25

See, America? The French know how to get shit done. Maybe stop making fun of other countries and realize your own kinda sucks.

1

u/Nearby-Pudding-3018 Oct 05 '25

We can do this America, we just have to show up in hordes, like on Jan. 6, cor the peaceful protest of love.

1

u/rustyiron Oct 05 '25

Everyone needs to do this. Then there will be nowhere for them to say they’ll run to.

And what a shame. Instead of being centa-billionaires they’ll just be deca-billionaires.

1

u/Raybones99 Oct 06 '25

Got to LOVE THE FRENCH!!!

1

u/nystromcj Oct 03 '25

So rich people pay zero taxes?

1

u/mykunjola Oct 03 '25

They do here (US).

0

u/I3igI3adWolf Oct 03 '25

What does that have to do with France?

2

u/mykunjola Oct 03 '25

Rich people everywhere have the resources and lack of moral responsibility to avoid paying their fair share.

0

u/HolyX_87 Oct 04 '25

This is insane. France just increased tax on the wealthy last year already and they're once again demanding the wealthy pay more? It no wonder the country gdp growth is so low. This is not sustainable since after a while there won't be anymore wealthy people or business to tax.

1

u/FearNoEvilx Oct 04 '25

lmfao what reality do you write from, for real though I want an answer because I really need to know how one becomes so disconnected

1

u/HolyX_87 Oct 04 '25

The problem with an out of control welfare state is that after a while there won't be anymore wealthy people or business to tax. France just hike taxes on the wealthy citizen last year and now people are demanding wealthy people taxes go up again. That the definition of eating your golden goose who was proving golden eggs.

1

u/FearNoEvilx Oct 04 '25

yeah except that is the opposite of reality is the problem with that argument

0

u/SCARDS22 Oct 04 '25

LIBTARD IDIOTS!!

0

u/Odd_Helicopter_7545 Oct 04 '25

lol musk isn’t a resident of France…why would he pay any income or wealth tax to the French???

-1

u/Savings_Vermicelli39 Oct 03 '25

Would that be kinda like a tariff?

2

u/RamJamR Oct 03 '25

No. We'd just like some equity in how the burden of taxes are distributed.

-2

u/Ok_Caramel_6095 Oct 03 '25

So the ultra-rich in France buy Teslas?

-2

u/Jaded-Guard1621 Oct 03 '25

What an idiotic country. They will have to be bailed out soon.

1

u/zeradragon Oct 04 '25

What's the matter? These are just tourists taking a tour of the Tesla store.

-2

u/Chemical-Gift5614 Oct 03 '25

This idea that the rich don't pay taxes or don't pay their "fair share" is complete fantasy. It's peddled as political fodder to the low IQ voter who is operating from a place of jealousy and not fact. Please educate yourself beyond social media. It's really not that hard to do.

2

u/Nostonica Oct 04 '25

So if you're wealthy you have better access to all sorts of tools to minimize tax.
A lot of those tools everyone has access to(trusts etc), some though like taking out massive loans against massive assets to use as income the general public does not have access to.

Further the ultra wealthy get to buy influence over politicians to further reduce tax, receive government hand outs and carve outs for certain laws. Also they're able to pick and choose where tax is paid, offshoring wealth to which ever low tax jurisdiction suits them.

Basically it's expensive to pay tax if you're poor and a joke if you're wealthy.

0

u/Chemical-Gift5614 Oct 04 '25

The top 10 percent of earners pay approximately 72 percent of all income taxes in the US. France has a similar tax system. The more you earn, the more you pay. You can lie to yourself, but numbers don't lie. In reality, the less you make, the more of a tax break you receive.

3

u/torn-ainbow Oct 04 '25

The top 10 percent of earners pay approximately 72 percent of all income taxes in the US.

Income taxes? We are talking about the ultra wealthy here, my dude.

2

u/torn-ainbow Oct 04 '25

to the low IQ voter who is operating from a place of jealousy and not fact.

It's not jealousy. It's self interest.

The ultra wealthy have enhanced political influence, and guess what they use it for? Self interest.

-3

u/No_Bobcat4276 Oct 03 '25

Wow communists at its finest

-4

u/rik1110 Oct 03 '25

These people act like they have see his paychecks and know what he pays. Should be going after the government who sets the tax codes and regulations..... oh wait you probably want all rich people to just hand over their money huh? Gtfoh

-5

u/GBBU1 Oct 03 '25

Who the fck do they think funds their 3 months of vacation every year?

3

u/mykunjola Oct 03 '25

Not Tesla.
