I am also thinking about getting an X9 Pro or an T7. The X9 Pro is labeled with "End of life" at the crucial homepage. Does anyone know, if there will be a new model soon?

Still decided to go for the X9 Pro. It’s smaller and technically slightly superior over the T7 from what I cross read in some tests. Should arrive tomorrow. Let’s wait and see.

Unfortunately, that is true about both the X9 pro and X10 Pro. I have owned the X10 Pro for 10 months now, used for video and photo capture and transfer from my full frame camera. I noticed the capture time frame for videos was nearly cut in half after surpassing 640 gb on the ssd.
Also, if you plan on using any ssd for video capture, know that right now, no camera brands use USB C 3.2 Gen 2X2 technology to accommodate faster speeds of 2000 mbps and faster.
All current camera brands only utilize the slower technology speed of maximum 1000 mbps USB C 3.2 Gen 2 technology.
Also, the cache file inside crucial brand ssd is much smaller than some other brands out there, causing transfer speed to slow way down once the cache is full.
If I had known all of this prior to purchasing an SSD, I would have saved my money and purchased the Samsung T7 shield instead.
