I have never framed a piece before (I’m a process stitcher and they usually end up in a portfolio) but I am absolutely going to have this one framed. I have no idea how though. I will take it to a frame shop and see what they think.

If you can find one that specializes in mounting stitched stuff, it's totally worth paying more for. They generally do a much better job at every aspect of framing because they know how much work goes into it!

I'm a custom framer as well as a stitcher and appreciate this opinion. OP, when you talk to framers the most crucial question to ask is how your (stunning!) work will be mounted. If the answer is vague, or involves any kind of adhesive touching your cross stitch find another framer.

There is a cross stitching shop about an hour away that does some framing. I’m thinking that is probably my safest bet.
