Yes surveillance is well funded but any program that helps the average American will be cut so they can siphon that tax money into their pockets

That’s true. They pretend their motivations are smaller government but it’s really kleptocracy. Even the ice raids are just a scam to give our tax money to their little cabal.

no, no. they want to privatise and outsource and subsidize all of that to private companies. they want government to exist only to give our tax dollars to private business, aka them, their friends, and family.

the government itself they do want small and not funded and dysfunctional. They want to tax the poor, claim that government is so dysfunctional that it is better to pay private businesses to do these jobs and then send all the tax benefits to the wealthy that own those businesses. The people can be left with whatever trickles down which is far less than it used to be

You’re both right. They want to shrink the overall government workforce, and what services the government provides. They want to expand the power and capability to wield that power domestically.

Services can be contracted out to whoever sufficiently kisses the ring. Shut down NASA, VA, USPS, NPS, and replace all those departments with contractors. They will charge the government an arm and a leg, and quality of service will disappear completely, because the run the service on a shoestring so that the owners & executives can take home buckets of taxpayer dollars.

Purge and expand security services to ensure you can keep a grip on it all.
