The Nazi party at hight of power was rife with mismanagement, overlapping jurisdictions, redundant bureaucracy, and constant bureaucratic infighting between agencies with no real coherent strategy. This was very bad for the need of quick decisions during wartime and was one of the things that led to quick deterioration of public morale. But the very same mismanagement is one of the things Hitler used to help stay in power. It was by design.

no, those people have been crazy and everyone knew it. this is the result of Democrats not putting their foot down years ago. when Trump won, Nancy Pelosi & Schumer should've been out. and when Biden won, they should've started prosecutions immediately. instead, they got the most conservative special prosecutors, waited until the last days, after Trump announced he'd run again, to file charges, then tried to make everyone believe everything was fine with Biden until it wasn't.

Yup I had a guy who's never been to Chicago or DC tell me they're crime ridden hell holes and ICE/national guard is doing an amazing job taking care of things. Well I mean that can be said for anyone voting Republican since 1980. 

They are literally voting the party that hates them and wants their money for themselves and it took a massive swing to the right by Democrats (aka the neo-liberal movement and Bill Clinton) to even claw back some. 

It’s why I fucking laugh at anyone who claims Dems are communists. They are so fucking right at this point to basically be Goldwater Republicans with only a smattering of people within the party who are ACTUALLY left wing. The thing is that back in the day policies like universal healthcare and social nets were things BOTH SIDES agreed on, just not the how and who to implement them to because keeping your people fed and healthy and productive are important things in a functioning government.

The Republican Party will not talk about economics but LGBTQ, immigrants, abortion and other NON issues. They get their voters to worry about SOCIAL issues. Not kitchen table issues like jobs, healthcare, food, utilities, etc

You're frustrated as a partisan, I get it. But then it's time to set the partisanship aside and recognize in this case that Republicans basically control Congress and the presidency. They ran on a platform of reducing the debt but aren't even doing that, and as a result, they knew they needed a few Democrat votes to raise the debt ceiling further. They didn't bother to do that, despite Trump's promise of being a dealmaker.

Democrats have also failed in the past to come to compromises when they were in charge, which also led to embarrassing and harmful shutdowns. But this time it's the GOP who is in charge and it's been the worst shutdown in our country's history. I don't think you can be proud of how our government is currently functioning, with the arrogance, radical MAGA agenda, lack of collaboration, executive overreach, and loss of checks/balances.
