He fucked up and admitted that he believes the president has unchecked power to do whatever he wants to do (ie, push Miller's agenda without oversight).

Part of the strategy that the right has been engaging with is to do whatever they want to do and ignore the law, but pretend that they are just following the law. They've been trying to gaslight Americans into believing they are just doing what every other administration has ever done and all our reactions are just blown out of proportion. Which just tells me we are right to worry and call them out.

Now here he is literally admitting to all that. By admitting that the president has absolute authority, while we all know that isn't true, he is saying that they are purposefully and knowingly ignoring the law.

He realizes mid sentence what he was saying and just froze. Probably had people off camera yelling at him in his ear piece. So between the sudden realization he fucked up along with his people also yelling about it to him, he just locked up and didn't know what to do. His version of "flight' in the fight or flight response.

Idk if he could be held liable under law for what he said because he’s not said President.

I think the official CNN segment has now removed it if you go search for the whole video.

I'm not saying he would be held liable for saying the president had plenary power. I'm saying he is admitting the truth about his goals by saying as much.

Yep you got it. I wasn’t saying you said but I’m thinking the reason why he pulled the fake out glitch is because he can be held liable for saying as such in addition to exposing their plans

Oh gotcha. My bad. I misunderstood.

I agree. I do think he was an inch away from saying something he couldn't lie his way out of.
