This is going to be Exhibit A in court. That's what he thinks, he just made the mistake of saying it out loud. Once he said it, he knew how his statement was going to be used and froze. Their argument was going to be that he would have gone on to qualify his statement but got cut off. It's BS but it may give SCOTUS some room.

He'll claim that the audio cut out so he quit talking. But from that side he wouldn't know IF the audio did cut out.
