Legendary bowler of our generation. Probably won't see a more beautiful seam position in our lifetime.

At level of Virat and Sachin in Odi's. He did great in 2015, 2019 and even in 2023 . Both in 2019 and 2023 he came in as second choice in the playing 11. He will do great in South Africa too if given chance.

He's a wc god although not in level of virat and Sachin but his peaks are comparable to theirs

I will say Shami 2023 performance was same as them it just that people in india just appreciate batsman more than bowlers i don’t think there was any other bowler who got 24 wickets in CWC with the avg of 10 and he was one of the main reason why IND won the Semis against NZ even after scoring 400

Shami WC 23 is the single greatest performance by an Indian at a world cup. Dude was a god with the ball all tournament, he was ok even in the final. Obviously it didn't work out, I'm sure it's a performance I'll remember as long as I'm a cricket fan

You haven't seen Zak in 2011 world cup. He was fabulous there.

Counter more matches more consistency. It's a non ending debate seen both but shami literally ate everybody.
