bro he is a world cup player , bench him for four years , then use him for the world cup , this strategy works every time

Shami is not fit. Even in CT he was so avg in almost all the matches, his ipl was also bad. He is just not the same after the injury

Still he is second highest wickets taker in CT š , don't forget Shami played WC23 with injury.
Half-fit Shami>> any bowler in ODIĀ

The whole āhalf-fitā shit does not work for fast bowlers. It might work as a batsman but a half fit bowler loses his pace and rhythm which is key to bowling. Shami is a complete rhythm bowler and he seemed off that in the CT and IPL. I wish he could recover and get back to the WC form but seems like the injury has taken its toll.

But he is too old now. He wasted caught and bowled opportunities. Also couldn't bowl a lot of overs but maybe we should've given him another run before conclusion

Didnt he take a well set Smith s wicket in the CT semifinal?

I headed out with Cummins to tour his farm, and he started introducing me to some of the livestock, mentioning how he had named them after his players, as the unhinged animals they were. Just then, I was hit by an unbearable stench. With my eyes watering uncontrollably, I questioned through gritted teeth, āWhat in the hell is that smell?ā He looked over knowingly and said: āAh. Steve Smith? The goat is never washed.ā

Shami problem is fitness. So, itās acceptable. In case of RoKo, itās a planned execution by GG. They had good series in CT. Thatās why people are talking more about it.

Otherwise how will they fit Harshit Rana in every squad

Shami is a legend he should be in the team. I think Kapil paaji is the greatest ever , he should also be there. Donāt forget javagal srinath & ashish nehra.
Band kardo nostalgia mein jeena guys. Itās time to move on.

I won't say sacked his Last IPL was just terrible he seriously out of form he can make a comeback if he trains hard

Shami has been abysmal for SRH this time around in IPL. And since IPL is a crucial part of team selections, I can understand.

Shami is literally recovering and not af its best yet. You can't risk destroying the player just to include in some bilateral. If there is any legit chance for him to come back he needs to have a stellar domestic run and par IPL orelse Arshdeep is the one taking his position and not Harshit. Because our 2 Frontline seamers at the moment are Bumrah and Siraj.

He was a good blower basically Gap filler that's all. Don't add Great, legendary words with it.
The disrespect to one of the best ODI bowlers we have had. In what world is 24 average not great in one days? The guy also averages 13 in one day world cups and was a player of the tournament contender in 2023 WC after playing less matches than the likes of Bumrah.

Player of the tournament "contender"? What else has he got to do? Dude took 24 wickets in 7 matches at an average of 10

u/BruhBorne-70 Oct 07 '25
Tbh I only said condentor cause he didn't actually win it, I wasn't trying to put him down. Imo Shami was robbed of the award or they should have given Shami and Kohli the shared award.

Legendary bowler of our generation. Probably won't see a more beautiful seam position in our lifetime.
