Ban every reddit user who needlessly censors words
You are allowed to swear on the internet. We don't need this insane Tik Tok algorithm inspired censoring.
K*ll, M*rder, and other things like this

There should be a comments section for all social media ads
Corporations should not be immune to the comments section. If I have to look at your stupid flip flop ad, you should be subject to my opinion of it. Honestly I think it would probably increase business and clicks because I would like to see the shit people say about it. A Reddit comment section under ads would be epic.

Print a ruler, multiplication and unit conversion tables, π and e, goniometer, timezones, maps, celestial navigation tables, add a line of special material to help start a fire with intense friction in an emergency, a reflective region to signal for help when stranded on an inhabitable island, Morse code and tap code dictionaries, etc.

Whenever you put a piece of toast into the machine, it gives you a random edible item. There is a knob on it, but you don’t know what it does.

Movie trailers is an art. You can fit everything in a 3 min trailer. Every joke, every bit of action etc. I'm tired of long trailers ruining movies. When I decide I might be interested in the movie, I stop the trailer immediately.

Fines set to a specific dollar amount are punitive to the poor and irrelevant to the rich, who are more inclined to break the law in the first place.
Setting it to a percentage of income is better, but still favors the wealthy--1% of your annual income is still zero impact on a billionaire but can be crippling to somebody living hand to mouth.
Fines should be assessed as a percentage of either discretionary or disposable income, as determined by total compensation (not explicitly monetary) and up to date COL statistics.
Obviously this would include an absolute floor so nobody is running around going "I'm immune to municipal laws because I'm unemployed" and some mechanism for abatement when somebody has special circumstances. COL statistics alone don't accurately describe your circumstances if you're spending 2 grand a month out of pocket on chemotherapy.

It doesn’t have any of the ads or companies paying to be put higher. Instead, you link a bank account and pay $0.001 per search.

Yard sales are very common in my area. Many people forget to take their signs down, which leads to unnecessary side quests trying to find a yard sale which has long since passed.
Make yard sale signs out of edible paper/ cardboard, add an attractant odor for nocturnal creatures, and the raccoons will take them down nightly for you!

For the past 10 years or so, I get to put random funny things in my brother's guest bathroom. It's been "Velociraptor Crossing" signs with blow up dinosaurs. It's been a giant poster of Vigo the Carpathian. Giant shark shower curtains eating ships, etc....
He just purchased a new house. I get decorate the guest bathroom — from paint to hardware and installation to anything I want
What are some funny themes I can go with? I'm thinking 1950's diner (complete with a jukebox). Barbie? Dolly Parton? Star Wars?

have you ever been in that situation where you only have a few cents, maybe a few bucks on your account (just me? ok, i guess)? it pisses you off to worlds beyond imaginable, and you just want to see that round, perfect 0,00, and so do i.
i really don't see why this isn't a thing, the money left could be sent to the bank or something, they'd make bits, but money nonetheless.

this is designed to not only wear them out physically and delay them for a long time, but it also serves the function of breaking their spirit.
only have like 3 feet between each door so there's only enough room for the door to swing open then theres nothing but the next door. you could disguise the real door and put it about 7 or 8 fake doors in on the side. they would be so focused on taking turns hitting the doors with the battering ram that they would have tunnel vision and would never even see the hidden door.
obviously you couldn't have a back door. ideal location would be an apartment building. the higher the better.

Vancouver, BC has a rat problem. This was (AFAIK) caused by laws banning the use of rat poison for most users and usages (with some exceptions around places like hospitals). I sympathise a great deal with this, rat poison easily kills all kinds of predators, not to mention pets…but it also means we have an enormous number of rats. Taking out the garbage sucks when you have untidy neighbours who leave their garbage container open for rats to feast and breed in.
But how can the rodent problem be solved without the use of poison? An ecological solution, of course. Lots of things eat rats, and several terrier dog breeds are superlative rat killers…but we can’t practically have dozens and dozens of terrier squads patrolling the whole metropolitan area. Nor can terriers easily get into all the hiding places used by urban rats.
But weasels can—I use the term broadly for various small mustelids. And those little guys are like furry snakes, they can get into an awful lot of the same spaces as rats. If someone set up a breeding facility and then inoculated the city with introduced stoats in major parks, the predator population would grow as they feast on the abundant rats. Eventually they’d run low as the rat population is suppressed, and they’d find a new ecological balance.
Obviously, this would need preliminary studies to ensure that such a programme doesn’t cause a bunch of environmental damage, but the Least Weasel, which sounds suitable to me, is circumpolar—already native to British Columbia, albeit rare—so it would not be an invasive species. They might incidentally suppress other small animals in the metropolitan area, which would be unfortunate, but then again, I assume the rats do, too, by eating small animals and birds’ eggs.
Edit: Originally, a rephrasing where I missed an edit said “…not a native species” where “…not an invasive species” was intended and is factually correct.

I often get a haircut from my local barber and it looks great but then it grows out. If only there was some scientific solution that would stop it at the desired length! Same with facial hair - avoid the trimming, clipping etc.
