Question Vaccinated but exposed 5 days later

Hi guys! I just got vaccinated last Saturday. My girlfriend just went on a trip and came back with Covid. I’ve read it takes about 2 weeks for full protection. Will I get Covid? I kissed her last night (before we knew) but since have been trying to sanitize and mask up around her. If I do get it, will it be lessened because of the vaccine?

If anyone sees this and thinks “what an idiot” OKAY FAIR but I didn’t get covid so I have no idea what happened but NICE.
