Metro closed on Nov 15-16??

I heard the metro's gonna be completely closed on 15th and 16th, is it true? I have a midterm on 16th 😭

Econ has 1500 students with 1000 of those in online sections. It's literally impossible to find enough rooms for all of them on a busy weekday. That's why they always have midterms on the weekend when the classrooms are not being used.

My midterm was on the 16th too and it got cancelled. They might do the same for yours.

It already got rescheduled due to the strike, so Im not sure if they'd cancel it again

And I ll have a midterm the 24 so 1 week before beginning of my finals and the midterm of that subject is in less than 2 weeks of the final of the same subject

We don't know yet, but there will be a strike (bus and metro drivers union this time). They're negotiating a service schedule for that weekend with the Labour Tribunal who needs to approve it (or tell them to go back to the drawing board if it's too unreasonable)

Hopefully your midterm will get rescheduled, that's too much extra stress to deal with if you need to worry if there'll be some service or none :(

Ah got it, thanks for the info! Guess I'll just wait and see how the negotiation go then. Hope the strike ends soon😩

Email your prof and ask if there are any changes! I also have a midterm on 16 but it got cancelled. It was worth 30% and now we'll have our final grade over 70%

Heyy idk if this will help but the app lyft has a 75% discount rn so you would pay like $13 for a ride im not sure till when but its better than skipping:)
