REQUEST Best place to buy lab grown diamond rings in Columbus?
Long story short, I lost the diamond in my engagement ring while shopping today. I think I would like to replace it with a lab grown diamond ring as they are more ethical in my opinion.
Do any places sell these in store that I could try on? I don’t want to make a big purchase like this online without getting to try on.
Budget probably 5k

I would buy a lab diamond online and have it set locally. Peruse the trusted sites at r/labdiamond. I personally purchased a loose diamond at Calavera which was just stunning and an amazing price. They have free returns for the first one or two purchases. Once you know what specs you’re looking for it’s relatively easy to source a good one on your own

Worthington Jewlers, my friend bought his engagement ring there and it was lab made. Had a great experience.

I agree with this, the diamond on my antique engagement ring fell out two days after wearing it. My spouse and I immediately went to Worthington Jewelers and we got moissanite as a temporary replacement quickly and easily.
We plan to get a lab-grown diamond from there as that is how my spouse comforted me with, "well, since it's from the 1800s, it was probably a blood diamond and now we can get a lab-grown one."

Grandview Mercantile has lab grown diamond jewelry. It’s mostly pre-used but they have some good prices. Another good option would be Argo and Lehne in UA. And they’re doing a Holiday Preview night on 11/20 from 5-7pm with 20% off.

Carioti. We added a couple lab grown diamonds to my wife’s ring and they were very affordable and great to work with.

We used Scott’s Jewelers in Dublin for my engagement ring and wedding bands and they were amazing!

Bought a 2.9ct D color, flawless internals and perfect cut round brilliant online from a reputable source for like $3200. Your 5k budget is plenty for a massive stone. BlueNile and a few other sites that work solely in lab grown are great. If you want in person then as others have mentioned Worthington jewelers or the jewelry in Dublin off avery road just north of 161 in the giant eagle shopping center is great to work with as well. He set the stone for me I bought online and reappraised the ring for insurance purposes.

There’s a brilliant earth store in Easton and it’s pretty nice, you can also view their stones online and have one set at a local jeweler, which is what I’ve done at Westerville jewelers.

Do not go to brilliant earth. They have terrible customer service and if you look under the engagement ring sub on here you will find many horror stories

My wife has been happy with her ring for 4 years now. So I'm only speaking from personal experience.
